More and more foreigners like to come to China. Last Friday our school was (去掉was)invited a foreign teacher in our city (加to) give a class to the students of Senior Grade Two. We found his class interested(interesting). I learned a lot of(去掉of) from him. The teacher had a free talk with us in easy English. He spoke slow(slowly) so that we could understand him well. Sometimes he repeated that(what) we didn’t understand. My classmates were both(all) active in the class. To my joy, I understood everything the teacher said. And I was able to ask question(questions) in English. This class encouraged me very much. I’m sure that until(if) we keep on practicing, it will be easy for us to learn spoken English good(well).

Dear Li Bin,
I’m very glad to receive your letter. I’ve been thinking about the question you asked me. In my opinion, you should go abroad for further study. For one reason, you can experience another kind of culture, which can broaden your horizon. For another, I think the way of teaching in western countries is quite from that in China. The teachers there focus more on putting knowledge into practice. If you go abroad and study in the university there, you will be better at solving problems by yourself. What’s more, the oversea universities are better equipped and the curricula there are so well designed that there are varieties of courses for you to choose from.
In a word, going abroad is a good choice, but you’d better ask your parents for advice. After all, it is they that offer you the money for further study.
Best wishes.
Yours,
Li Hua
